Looks like I'm going to be reading all of these in a row because they're short and my library had all of them on the shelf. (Well, all except the first one, which I already owned as an e-book.)
I enjoyed this one even though it was a bit less substantial than the first one. We get to spend time with Kade and Christopher and Nancy again, along with a new girl named Cora who belongs in a mermaid world, and we find out that Sumi's fate wasn't as final as it seemed, thanks to the more flexible nature of causality in her nonsense world. I'm still trying to figure out the rules that govern this alternative universe, even though those rules are clearly different in different places.
